Job Description

In this role you will support the Bank’s Change Management Center of Excellence program by performing quality assurance reviews of change deliverables in line with policies and procedures, minimum requirements and regulations as appropriate for the risk classification and management of change initiatives throughout the bank’s consolidated US operations.

Responsibilities :

  • Assuring quality and completeness of change effort deliverables through both calendar-driven and event-driven post-action QA reviews.
  • Serve as a leader of the QA team to develop and promote a culture that values diversity of thought, promotes integrity and creates an atmosphere that supports coaching and fosters accountability.
  • Develop and execute a quality assurance plan to assess conformance with policies, procedures, requirements, and regulations.
  • Create effective and efficient protocols for testing.
  • Delivering timely and effective feedback to colleagues and management on review results, including findings and recommendations for resolution.
  • Escalating and presenting instances of non-adherence to change management procedures and process to senior management and management committees.
  • Reporting communicating on overall results of QA activities to senior management and management committees.
  • Perform ongoing monitoring activities to track resolution of findings and open QA issues and track closure of action plans in line with procedures.
  • Developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of relevant policies, processes, and systems.
  • Engaging in positive relationships with all Bank colleagues.
  • Participating in training of junior team colleagues.
  • Participate in and contribute to the build phase of the COE & QA function through execution of a work plan and detail design work.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Experience in Quality Control/Assurance programs preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Information independent testing and validation, internal audit, compliance and/or business assurance
  • Demonstrated strong critical thinking, logic skills and creativity to develop solutions to issues.
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues to achieve quality standards.
  • Ability to prioritize own workload and to work under pressure with little supervision to tight deadlines while maintaining close attention to details.
  • Proven strong business communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong knowledge of bank operations across strategic business units.
  • Ability to influence the activities of employees at all levels across the Bank.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Agile ways of working and related tools.
  • A curiosity to learn and pursue personal education of new skills, technologies and solutions.
  • Certification, or actively pursuing one of the following certifications, is highly desirable: Six Sigma, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)Auditor, Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA).
